Computer Science Scholarships CSIRO Mathematical and Statistical Information is looking to appoint a highly motivated graduates who will take a substantive role in developing theoretical and computational framework where deterministic simulation can be embedded in the risk of stochastic or Bayesian meta-model to understand and measure risks and consequences of extreme flow events (such as floods, dam breaks, tsunamis, landslides and storm surges). This framework will be generic in its approach to the development of mathematical and algorithmic significant.
You will be embedded in the world of computational modeling led the group with significant expertise in flow modeling, modeling extreme events and in the development of software systems. Key Computer Science Scholarships elements of the role will draw upon multi-disciplinary capabilities and expertise of their own computing and statistics to develop new capabilities and the inherent cross-disciplinary.
